Jamaica leaves Northern Ireland in the shade when it comes to electoral fraud.
An electronic voter ID system is being introduced in some marginal constiuencies in the Greater Kingston area for next Monday's general election in response to some particularly egregious examples of vote theft in the past. In 2002, a number of polling stations reported a turn out of over 100%, while the Arthur Wint Basic School in Jamaica's bucolic far west managed a less-than-credible turnout of 805%.
